Something out of Nothing...

Man I planned to go to Chicago today but the weather been sucking here lately. So I decided to go up to Lake Michigan and some of the surrounding areas to take some pics. Kinda ended up having my own photo shoot with this remote I just bought for my camera. Chicago will hopefully happen tomorrow, but I've been recommended to see Hangover II tonight, so its goin down!

The Word...

I wanna be close to Jesus

face deep in his sandles

a ceremony worthy of candles and a feast

pleasing to the eyes and food fruitful to my teeth and tongue

my tongue will truthfully confess that I have been a victim

from which came an unpleasant soul and bad relationship

I found myself falling out of touch with him

whimmed with ideas that wouldn't please God

it's odd sometimes how i find myself confined 

of my dyslexic decisions that differentiate myself from my determined righteous duty

my mind mysteriously making me motion myself to make mischievious thoughts become made believable

But I have come to a point where I must change some things

Which brings me to this

God gives us his word so freely

Some let the devil take it soon as we recieve it

Some get it, but have no roots so after too long they let go like they don't believe it

Some are choked out by life's worries, and it's deceitful gifts

Examples: money, women, clothes, and whips

But then there are some who take it and run and produce great things

Don't blame me these are the red words of the KING.

Mark 4:13-20

13 Then Jesus said to them, "Don't you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable?14 The farmer sows the word.15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.16 Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy.17 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.18 Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word;19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown."

Which one are you? I was once the wrong one, but no longer will I be.

Reading these today really hit me hard.

These are some pictures from my job in Indiana. This is the whole reason I'm here, to work on this job. I'm usually here about ten hours a day making sure I do everything I can do to help and make sure that this job progresses in some way each day. It's pretty cool watching something go from dirt to a 450,00 sf creation. Check the pics out, you can find some pretty interesting things on a jobsite. 

These two pictures (above and below) show just about what I do all day. I gotta BS job spray painting floors but its very important. I have to do it for every wall in this 450,000 sf building while Im at the job. I read the plans and determine which walls have a certain rating and spray the stenciling on the floor next to that wall. According to the rating the subcontractors have to do things to make sure the wall will not fail what its rated for. A 1hr fire wall can with stand fire for 1hr, a smoke tight wall can hold smoke for a certain amount of time if that room were to catch on fire and etc....

Shoutout to the roommate...This sticker was coincidently on the truck.

And the day usually ends like......"Man i tired, forget the shirt Im gone"
